Tech Preview v0.98.18 released [12-FEB-2011]

Postby Carlos » Tue Dec 07, 2010 5:41 pm

I'm pleased to announce that Remote Potato version 0.98.18 - Tech Preview - is now available for download, and allows you to stream your video library (DIVX files, MP4 files, etc.) to the Silverlight skin. It's only a technical preview, of course, but seems to be working fairly well so far.

Additional changes include:

  • You can now choose the correct aspect ratio when watching TV shows in a web browser.
  • The Streaming Engine contains enhancements and fixes.
  • The app contains a Connection Setup wizard with comprehensive steps and connection tips/advice.

In addition to many other updates and fixes - check out the changelog for more details.

Download link is below, please post any bug reports / requests / etc. in the Tech Preview forum.

Extended API support, for forthcoming iOS client apps.

I think you put that in there just to tease us developers! I'll buy you a couple of pints for updated API documentation!

:) Do my best! iOS development is slowing now that it's submitted to the App Store, so once my day job calms down a little next month I'll see what I can do.
